The CBO Expo is for Business Owners:

The CBO Expo is a group of Christian Business Owners who are joining together to support one another with Prayer, Referrals and Fellowship. We use cyberspace as a platform for our "Online Virtual Expo" which - essentially - is a directory of Christian-Owned businesses in Central Illinois and around the United States. While we don't yet have a formal meeting place or organized meetings at this time, we encourage members to meet each other to get acquainted, share leads and referrals, support one another in prayer, and generally promote one anothers businesses to each of our local churches and the Christians we know, with the message of "buying Christian".

Our Central Illinois Christian Business Directory puts Christian-Owned businesses all in one place! Why is it important to buy from a Christian-Owned business? What is a "Virtual Expo"?

A Virtual Expo is basically an online version of a physical Business Expo or Trade Show. Instead of traveling to a physical Business Expo or Trade Show, held in a convention center or exhibit hall at a specific date and time, a Virtual Expo allows you to visit the Exhibitors online, any time you want.

What the CBOExpo does for the Christian Shopper:

We take the guesswork out of finding a Christian-owned company to do business with. The CBO Expo places Christian-Owned Businesses all in one place: at your fingertips, so that you don't have to visit dozens of local merchants websites or surf the web trying to "look for some sign" that they might be Christian-Owned.

Does it make a difference whether or not I buy from a Christian-Owned business?

Yes, absolutely!

As a Christian shopper, you care about where your money goes. You want to be a good steward with what the Lord has entrusted you. Therefore, in making buying choices, you will want to make purchases which will benefit the Kingdom of God the most. Christian business owners tithe a portion of their income to their local churches, suport Missions and give to Chrisitan Charities, advancing the Gospel of Christ. Non-Christian business owners will not.

Buy With Confidence: All things equal, buying from Christian-Owned businesses should offer not only quality products and services at fair prices, but the additional reward of helping support a Brother or Sister in Christ. Additionally, because of their faith and the pledge they took before being allowed membership in the CBO Expo, the Christian company should provide you with the confidence that you will not be swindled. In the world, it's anybody's guess.
